After years creating brands and communicating their stories behind the closed doors of big agencies and production companies, limited to their client lists, we thought it was time to free ourselves to be able to help anyone make interesting work.
Everything starts with an idea, and ideas should be challenging. We don't want to make familiar and comfortable, we want to make interesting and thought provoking. The best work means working past the expected to find the interesting stuff. Great work takes guts and faith in the kind of ideas that magnetise people towards them. The ones that touch nerves. And when we have those ideas, we treat them with craft and care to bring them to life beautifully.
Freebird was founded by Creative and Design Director Dave Brady and Production Director Shannon Brady.
Dave has spent his career in some of the best advertising agencies in London, Australia and New Zealand, most recently as Group Creative Director and Head of Design at Colenso BBDO. He has a strong belief in highly crafted, strategically driven creativity and design. His work has earned over100 awards at every major international award show.
Shannon’s career has spanned agency production, film production and VFX production in NZ, Australia and London working with companies like Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis Mojo, The Mill, MTV Europe and Oktober. If you want something done, Shannon will not only make it happen, she'll make sure it's great.
